Marine Virtual Laboratory – increasing flexibility and utility

University of Tasmania

Project Description

The aim of this proposal is two-fold, 1) to improve Virtual Laboratory Operations, supported by NeCTAR, to increase the flexibility of MARVL by enabling the easier inclusion of user-selected datasets and increased model configuration options, and 2) to deliver Trusted Research Outputs, mostly supported by ANDS funding, by collating improved provenance information describing MARVL outputs. Both these objectives fit with the future core IMOS planning in supporting the development of virtual laboratories.
